Isopropyl Alcohol Spray: Effective Wound Cleaning & Disinfection
When you get a cut, scrape, or burn, there is always a chance that it could become infected if it is not cleaned as soon as possible. Having isopropyl alcohol handy will kill all of the germs and bacteria that can cause infection. But carrying around a big bottle of alcohol and sterile wipes is not always feasible. Luckily, isopropyl alcohol is available in the form of a small spray bottle that is as easy to transport as it is to use.Things You'll Need
- Isopropyl alcohol spray
- Band-Aid
Instructions
Hold the spray four inches above the abrasion.
Place your index finger on the top of the pump while holding the bottle between your thumb and middle finger.
Apply pressure to the top of the pump until the alcohol shoots out.
Set the spray pump down on a table or countertop.
Wait 10 seconds until the alcohol dries.
Unwrap the Band-Aid and use it to cover the sting or burn.
