Amniotic Fluid & Fetal Development: Understanding Urine & the Amniotic Sac

Humans do not pee in the amniotic sack. Urine is produced by the kidneys and stored in the bladder until it is released through the urethra during urination. The amniotic sac contains amniotic fluid which is produced by the mother and provides a protective environment for the developing fetus.
