Trichomoniasis Treatment: Dosage & Partner Management

The recommended treatment for trichomoniasis is a single 2-gram dose of metronidazole. Alternatively, metronidazole can be taken as 500 milligrams twice daily for 7 days. Sexual partners of people with trichomoniasis should also be treated.
