Quanadine (Guanidine): Uses & Historical Context
Guanidine is not a commonly prescribed medication. It has a limited use in the treatment of myasthenia gravis, a rare neuromuscular disorder characterized by muscle weakness.
In such case, guanidine hydrochloride was formerly tried in myasthenia gravis, but has been superseded by other more effective therapy (for example: Mestinon).
