A person who has trouble forgetting information, such as the Russian memory whiz S, often seems to have a limited capacity for interference. This means that they may have difficulty remembering new information if it is similar to information they already know. For example, if they have memorized a list of words in English, they may have difficulty remembering a list of words in Russian if the Russian words are similar to the English words.
