CT Scans: How X-rays Create Detailed Body Images

CT (computed tomography) scans, also known as CAT scans, do not use electromagnets. Instead, they utilize rotating X-ray machines and detectors to capture multiple X-ray images from different angles. These images are then processed by a computer to create cross-sectional images of the body.
