Safe & Effective Mole Removal: Home Remedies & When to See a Doctor
Moles are simply clusters of dark pigmented skin cells that occur naturally from genetics or the sun. They can be surgically removed by a doctor or naturally with home remedies or over-the-counter medicines. For home use, apple cider vinegar or other kitchen items can effectively rid moles from the body. Not all moles are benign, however. Depending on the size, symmetry and color, they may indicate a form of skin cancer. Always consult your doctor before attempting to remove moles to ensure you are using the best possible treatment.Things You'll Need
- Apple cider vinegar
- Cotton balls
- Band-aids (assorted sizes)
Instructions
Apple Cider Vinegar Treatment
Soak a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar. Place the saturated cotton directly against the mole.
Attach a band-aid on top of the cotton and stick firmly to skin. Make sure the adhesive part of the Band-Aid and surrounding skin area are dry.
Repeat these steps at least three times a day, replacing with fresh cotton balls and band-aids every time. The mole should shrink and layer off within two weeks.
