Sinus Infection & Earache Headaches: Causes & Symptoms
Headache: A sinus infection can cause pressure and pain on one side of the head. This pain may be accompanied by tenderness over the affected sinus and congestion or a runny nose. Earaches can also cause pain in the head, especially if the infection spreads to the inner ear. This type of pain is usually sharp and stabbing, and may be accompanied by a fever, dizziness, and hearing loss.
Tingling: Sinus infections and earaches typically do not cause tingling sensations in the head. Tingling is more commonly associated with nerve damage or irritation. If you are experiencing tingling or numbness on one side of your head, it is important to see a doctor to rule out any underlying medical conditions.
