Periosteal Elevation: Instruments & Surgical Technique
The periosteum is elevated using a periosteal elevator, which is a surgical instrument specifically designed for this purpose. The elevator has a thin, blunt blade that is inserted between the periosteum and the underlying bone. The blade is then gently moved back and forth, separating the periosteum from the bone. This process is repeated until the periosteum is completely elevated from the bone.Crystal Healing - Related Articles
