Dyeing Purple Fabric to Navy Blue: What to Expect

It is not possible to dye purple to navy. Dyeing purple fabric navy would require removing all of the red and blue dye so that only the blue dye remains. Unfortunately, this is not a feasible process, and it is likely that the purple dye would be changed to another color entirely or become black instead of navy.
