DIY Wetting Agent Recipe: Improve Plant Hydration
To make a homemade wetting agent, you will need the following ingredients:
- 1 gallon of water
- 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap
- 1 tablespoon of rubbing alcohol
- 1 teaspoon of Epsom salt
Instructions:
1. In a large bucket or container, combine the water, dish soap, rubbing alcohol, and Epsom salt.
2. Stir well until the ingredients are completely dissolved.
3. Use the wetting agent as needed when watering your plants.
This homemade wetting agent can help to improve the absorption of water and nutrients into the soil, and can also help to prevent water from running off the surface of the soil. For best results, apply the wetting agent to the soil around the base of the plant, and avoid applying it to the leaves.
