Fentanyl vs. Methadone: A Potency Comparison

Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is approximately 100 times more potent than morphine and 50 times more potent than heroin. Methadone is also a synthetic opioid but is less potent than Fentanyl, with a potency of approximately 10 times that of morphine. Therefore, 100 micrograms of Fentanyl is stronger than 85 mg of methadone.
