- Basil essential oil
- Vegetable oil
- Cotton cloth
Instructions
Basil Steam
Place a few drops of basil essential oil in a bowl of warm water.
Cover head with towel.
Lean over bowl and inhale deeply for three to five minutes.
Basil Massage Oil
Combine 12 drops of basil essential oil and 1 oz. of vegetable oil.
Shake bottle to mix the oils.
Rub the oil into sore muscles.
Basil Compress
Add five to eight drops of basil essential oil to 2 cups of hot or cold water.
Agitate the mixture to evenly disperse the oil.
Soak a cotton cloth in the solution.
Wring excess moisture from the cloth, and place cloth on skin.
Repeat every 15 minutes for up to one hour.
