Leap Procedure Recovery: Typical Hospital Stay & What to Expect

Typically, patients stay in the hospital for 1-2 nights after a LEAP procedure is performed. This allows the medical team to closely monitor the patient's progress and ensure they are recovering well. During this time, the patient may receive pain medication, antibiotics, and other medications as needed. They will also be monitored for any signs of complications, such as infection or bleeding. Once the medical team is satisfied that the patient is recovering well, they will be discharged home with instructions on how to care for themselves during the healing process.
