How many cusps does the valve between left ventricle have?
The valve between the left ventricle and the aorta is called the aortic valve. It has three cusps: the right coronary cusp, the left coronary cusp, and the non-coronary cusp. These cusps open and close to allow blood to flow from the left ventricle into the aorta and prevent backflow into the ventricle.Open Heart Surgery - Related Articles
