1. RA (right atrium) - high on right sternal border, 3rd to 4th intercostal space
2. LA (left atrium) - high on the left sternal border, 3rd to 4th intercostal space
3. RL (right leg) - on right ankle or lower leg
4. LL (left leg) - on the left ankle or lower leg
5. V1 - right sternal border, 4th intercostal space
6. V2 - left sternal border, 4th intercostal space
7. V3 - midway between V2 and V4
8. V4 - left midclavicular line, 5th intercostal space
9. V5 - left anterior axillary line, 5th intercostal space
10. V6 - left midaxillary line, 5th intercostal space
