How to Clean Personal Urine Containers

Yet, if left uncleaned, the container can develop a smell. That's why it is important to clean the container as soon as possible after use.

• Hot water
• Antibacterial soap
• Small cup
• Stirrer
• Clean towel

  Empty the personal urine container of any remaining urine.

  Fill the cup halfway with hot water and add a couple drops of soap.

  Stir the soap and water mixture together.

  Place the cap of the personal urine container in the cup. Allow it to sit for a minute or two.

  Dry the cap off with a clean towel.

  Fill the personal urine container halfway with hot water. Add four to five drops of soap.

• 7

  Screw the cap onto the container. Shake the container to mix the soap and water mixture. Do this for a minute.

  Unscrew the cap and empty the container. Leave the cap off to allow the container to air dry.
