Maintaining Comfortable Contact Lenses: Tips for Moist Eyes
Keeping your contacts moist is essential to the health of your eyes and your ability to use contacts as opposed to glasses. It is important to always have rewetting and lubricating eye drops on-hand. Luckily, they are compact enough to fit into your pocket or purse. Signs that your contacts are dry include eye irritation, contacts falling out easily, eyes that are painful to keep open, and bloodshot eyes.Things You'll Need
- Rewetting eye drops
Instructions
Tilt your head up. Hold your eyelids open with your fingers. Drop two or three drops of rewetting fluid into each eye.
Blink repeatedly.
Wipe excess solution from corners of your eyes.
Apply the eye drops whenever you feel the symptoms of dry eyes.
