Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Clinical Guidelines
The Royal College of Nursing (RCN is based in the United Kingdom. The RCN has coordinated the development of a set of clinical guidelines governing a number of medical conditions.-

In April 2009, the National Collaborating Center for Nursing and Supportive Care (NCC-NSC), a branch of the RCN merged with three other collaborating centers to form the National Clinical Guideline Center (NCGC), which published the clinical guidelines.

Clinical guideline categories include falls, pain in children, pressure ulcers, violence, perioperative fasting, perioperative hypothermia, irritable bowel syndrome, venous leg ulcers and pressure ulcers.

Each category contains a number of publications from the RCN and its partner organizations. These publications contain discussions of the prevention and treatment of injury and illness, use of medical devices, and information for the public. The documents include detailed documents as well as quick reference guides.
