Eating Off the Bus Floor: Health Risks & What to Do
The chances of dying from eating something off the floor of a bus are incredibly low. While it is possible to pick up bacteria and other microorganisms from surfaces, your body has a natural defense system to fight off most of them.
To be on the safe side, it's generally best to avoid eating or drinking anything that has been on the floor, even if it's just for a short period of time. If you're concerned about the cleanliness of a surface, you can always wipe it down with a disinfectant wipe before using it.
