ABCs: Prioritizing Airway, Breathing, and Circulation in Medical Assessments
Airway, Breathing, Circulation
1. Airway: Is the patient's airway patent? Are there any obstructions, such as foreign objects or swelling?
2. Breathing: Is the patient breathing spontaneously? If not, bag-mask ventilation or intubation may be necessary.
3. Circulation: Is the patient's pulse present and palpable? Is the skin warm and perfused?
