How to Properly Dispose of 6 Pack Rings
Break the holes.Snap or cut open all of the larger holes.
Pull the zip stripsTear open any zip strips completely. Some six or eight pack carriers have perforated outer strips for releasing the drink containers.
Cut the small holesUse scissors to cut across all of the small holes in the plastic rack. Divide the sections forming small holes until all that’s left is open half–circles.
Cut into small stripsCut the hole–free remains into 3 or 4 inch strips. You can safely drop these strips into your trash, knowing they pose no threat to wildlife.
