Fire Safety Training for Security Officers | Online Courses

Security officers monitor commercial buildings, schools, malls and places with high concentrations of people. In case of a fire, security officers must have basic fire safety training in order to act quickly.

Purpose

• Employees can take online fire safety courses to complete their training. These courses help security officers learn how to respond to these types of emergencies and keep individuals safe.

Training

• The training will include teaching security officers how to identify various alarm signals and how to use a fire extinguisher. The course work will also educate employees on using evacuation routes and how to guide individuals out of a building in case of a fire.

Certificate

• It typically takes around 60 days to complete the online fire safety training. Individuals will have to pass various fire safety quizzes in order to successfully complete the course work. Once the class is completed, individuals can print out a certificate and wallet card for proof of completing their training.
