CPR Effectiveness: Understanding Diastolic Intra-Arterial Pressure
Diastolic intra-arterial pressure of 20 mm Hg is not an effective sign of CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). Instead, return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) is typically indicated by palpable pulses, such as the carotid pulse, as well as other signs of life, such as breathing and movement. The presence of a diastolic intra-arterial pressure alone may not provide sufficient evidence of effective CPR.CPR - Related Articles
