Lifeguard Training in ID

Global Lifeguards and the American Lifeguard Association share a system that offers classes in CPR, First Aid and lifeguarding. Their system verifies an instructor is qualified to teach lifeguard training classes. It is an automated system permitting students to sign up no matter where they live, including in Idaho.

Lifeguarding

• The American Lifeguard Association Lifeguarding course is comprehensive. First-time students in lifeguarding learn rescue skills as well as CPR and First Aid.

CPR/First Aid

• Additional CPR training is offered in the basics of CPR as well as training for professionals. Both levels of training meet the Occupational and Health Administration standards.

Pool Operations

• A course is also offered in the operation of aquatic facilities. Students learn about filtration and circulation systems as well as safe water sanitation practices.

Classes in Idaho

• Courses are offered nationwide and can be signed up for online through Global Lifeguards. In Idaho, the specific courses include lifeguarding, CPR/First Aid as well as swimming pool operations.
