Chemotherapy is coded in the 96401-96585 range in the CPT® codebook. This includes the administration of systemic chemotherapy agents by intravenous, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intravesicular, intra-arterial, intraperitoneal, or other routes according to the dosage guidelines established by the specific drug monograph.
