CPR Ratio: Compressions vs. Breaths - A Step-by-Step Guide
For every 30 chest compressions, give 2 rescue breaths.
When giving rescue breaths, cover their entire mouth with yours and give each breath over 1 second. This should cause the chest to rise. Once the chest rises, remove your mouth and allow air to exit before giving the next breath.
