California Glass Recycling: CRV Value & Drop-off Locations
The state of California encourages its residents to recycle. The state offers California Redemption Value for all products that fall under the California Beverage Container Recycling and Litter Reduction Act. Glass bottles in the state can be gathered and taken to any recycling center near you if they are labeled "CRV," "California Redemption Value" or "California Cash Refund." Glass containers weighing less than 24 oz. are worth 5 cents and containers weighing more than 24 oz. yield 10 cents each when recycled.
