Do patients who have Dissociative Identity Disorder or Multiple Personality a dominant personality?
There is no single "dominant personality" in cases of Dissociative Identity Disorder. Instead, individuals with DID may have multiple distinct personality states or identities, each with its own unique characteristics, thoughts, feelings, and memories. These different personalities may emerge at different times and may take control of the individual's behavior and actions. The concept of a "dominant personality" does not accurately capture the complex nature of this disorder.Schizophrenia - Related Articles
