How to Control a Hot Temper
Today we live in a stressful world. So, let us be honest here. We all have a little temper problem once in awhile. Nobody is perfect, right? But losing your temper becomes a problem when it gets out of control. Ask yourself, how often lose my temper? Do I loose control of my words? Do I often regret saying things I really did not mean? If you answered yes to these questions, then read on, to find how you can gain control of your temper, as well as your words.
Instructions
First, realize it was YOU that lost your temper. You are also the only one that correct the problem.
Think about what it is that sets you off. Think about what you could have said to better the situation.
Think about how the words you said in anger could hurt. How does it feel when people speak to you with the same words?
Ask others for tips on how they stay calm. Ask them to remind you when you start getting upset. When you lose control, ask yourself, What happened to cause me to get so upset. What could I have said different so things would not have gotten out of control?
