Brain Freeze and Heart Health: What You Need to Know
A brain freeze, also known as an ice cream headache, is a sharp, intense pain in the forehead or temples that is caused by eating or drinking something cold too quickly. It is a harmless condition that typically resolves within a few seconds or minutes.
There is no evidence to suggest that brain freezes are harmful to people with heart problems. However, if you have a heart condition, it is always a good idea to talk to your doctor before consuming any cold foods or beverages, as they can sometimes trigger arrhythmias or other heart problems.
