Reusable Cold Packs: Uses, Benefits & How to Use
Cold sheet packs are also commonly referred to as reusable ice sheets, or refreezable ice sheets. These sheets are designed to easily wrap around a soda can, swollen ankle, or to line the inside of a cooler. The cold sheets are thinner than the average ice pack, which makes them more flexible. Some cold sheets can even be cut down in size to fit your needs.Things You'll Need
- Warm water
- Freezer
Instructions
Fill your kitchen or bathroom sink with warm water.
Set your cold sheets in the warm water so that they are completely submersed.
Squeeze the cold sheets under the warm water with your hands to remove the air bubbles and hydrate the cells within the cold pack.
Drain the sink and remove the cold sheets. Set them in your freezer until they are completely frozen.
Take the cold sheets out of the freezer when you are ready to use them. Wrap one around your milkshake, or place one at the bottom of your drink cooler. You can also wrap one around a swollen knee, or a black eye.
