How to Find a 90-Day Rehabilitation Center
According to the US Department of Health and Human Services, there were 22.2 million people that were classified as having a substance abuse or dependence problem in 2008. There are 30-, 60- and 90-day treatment facilities located across the United States. Many also offer outpatient services, for those that cannot attend in-patient treatment, or for those that have already completed an in-patient program.
Instructions
Go online to the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration's (SAMHSA) website. The address can be found at the bottom of this article under the resources section. SAMHSA offers a substance abuse treatment facility locator that lists over 11,000 addiction treatment programs.
Click on the detailed search option offered in the menu on the left-hand side of your screen. Enter your city and state.
Choose options that are important to you at your 90-day rehabilitation center. Make sure you include "Residential long-term treatment (over 30 days)." The SAMHSA treatment locator will provide a list of available treatment programs in your area.
Call 211 or visit their website. Eighty two percent of the population in the United States is now covered under 211. 211 is sponsored by the United Way and is a referral service that lists available community resources in the area.
Visit your county government's website. Most counties list rehabilitation programs located in the area.
Ask your local chapter of AA or NA. If you are not a member, you can call the local chapter and they will be able to provide you with a list of 90-day rehabilitation programs in your area.
