Understanding Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
This behavior belongs to the group of disorders known as Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD).
ODD is a childhood disorder characterized by a consistent pattern of disobedient, hostile, and defiant behavior toward authority figures, such as parents, teachers, and other adults in positions of authority. Individuals with ODD often argue with adults, refuse to comply with requests or rules, and deliberately annoy others. They may also be irritable, easily angered, and resentful.
