Understanding Sociopathy: Does Acquiring Desires Lead to Happiness?

It is not accurate to assume that sociopaths experience happiness simply by obtaining whatever they desire. Sociopathy, also known as antisocial personality disorder, is characterised by a lack of empathy, remorse, and regard for social norms. While sociopaths may manipulate others to get what they want, their internal experience of happiness and fulfilment may be significantly impaired due to their emotional deficits and lack of genuine connections with others.
