Florida Nurse Work Hour Limits: Consecutive Hours & Breaks

According to the Florida Board of Nursing, a registered nurse (RN) may not work more than 12 consecutive hours in a 24-hour period without an 8-hour break. A licensed practical nurse (LPN) may not work more than 10 consecutive hours in a 24-hour period without an 8-hour break.
