Government Nurse Pay Scale 2016: Updated Salary Structure

The upgraded pay structure for government employees (except Armed Forces personnel) including Nurses is as under (effective from 1 January 2016):

* Level -1 Rs.7th, Pay Band (Rs.5200-20200)+GP Rs.1800

* Level -2 Rs.9th, Pay Band (Rs.5200-20200)+GP Rs.2400

* Level -3 Rs.10th, Pay Band (Rs.5200-20200)+GP Rs.2800

* Level -4 Rs.12th, Pay Band (Rs.9300-34800)+GP Rs.4200

The grade pay (GP) indicated above relates to pre-revised basic pay of Rs.3920, Rs.4410, Rs.4850 and Rs.6470 respectively.
