How many years do you need to become a nurse?
It depends on the type of nursing you want to pursue.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Associate degree program: typically 2 years
Registered Nurse (RN)
• Associate degree program: typically 2 years
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program: typically 4 years
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
