Florence Nightingale: Her Pioneering Role in Nursing History

During the Crimean War she became the leading authority on the topic of nursing. While nursing, there she helped improve sanitary conditions at military field hospitals during her work in the Crimean War, thereby reducing the death rate among servicemen by two-thirds, which also resulted in her becoming well known across Britain.
