What do you need to become a peditritian nurse?
Education
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university
* Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where you want to practice
Experience
* At least two years of experience working as a registered nurse in a pediatric setting, such as a hospital, clinic, or school
Certifications
* Pediatric Nurse Certified (PNC) from the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB)
Skills
* Strong clinical skills in pediatric nursing, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of common pediatric illnesses and injuries
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both with children and their families
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs
Other requirements
* Physical stamina and agility to be able to lift and move patients
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Compassion and patience
* A strong desire to work with children and their families
