• A hospital is located on-site. The facility scored an 84 out of a possible 100 points during a Medicare review. According to Our Parents, the facility is located in an area with an above-average safety rating. The security and safety rating was based upon recent criminal activity in The Villages area.

Amenities

• Active seniors can enjoy a full array of recreational amenities while comforted by around-the-clock security and medical care available at Freedom Pointe. On-site leisure opportunities include an indoor swimming pool, library, cafe and dining hall, fitness center, jacuzzi and physical therapy services.

Complaints

• According to the Health Grades nursing home guide organization, Freedom Point received a perfect score during the state inspection in 2009. Three complaints were registered on the topics of resident rights and staffing qualifications. The degree of harm was determined to be minimal and affected a single resident. There were two incidents involving a lack of professional standards with the nursing staff.
