300 - EXCISION OR DESTRUCTION OF LESION OF VULVA
Description: Excision, biopsy, electrocautery, or laser surgery used to destroy a single, separate lesion on the vulva that is visible or palpable as a nodule, tumor, cyst, ulcer, or area of color change of the cutaneous or mucous surfaces, or is manifested as one separate focus by other diagnostic procedures when no other procedure on the vulva is performed concurrently (list separately any additional procedure(s) performed on the vulva during the same session.)*
Do not report for warts (57405 and 57413).*
*Do not use when reporting removal of vulvar lesions or growths during procedures 57270, 57275, 57280, 57330, and 57500.*
