Medical Bills & Minors: How Credit Reports Work
Generally, unpaid medical bills cannot be entered on a credit report until the individual is at least 18 years old. Since a minor is not legally an adult, a hospital or medical provider cannot report an unpaid bill to the credit bureaus.
