Medical Mutual of Ohio: Claim Filing Deadlines & Timelines
Timely Filing Limits
Medical - For non-emergency (elective) surgeries a claim must be filed no more than 90 days beyond the date service was rendered
Dental - If services are not submitted and received by Medical Mutual within six months from the actual procedure or the end of treatment; Medical Mutual has the right to refuse, or pay these claims based on the current fee schedule in effect at the time the claims are received as opposed to when the actual procedure performed
