How do I Find Medicaid Providers in Illinois?
Once enrolled in the Illinois Medicaid program, beneficiaries need to pick a primary care provider (PCP). The PCP is a general practitioner, pediatrician or obstetrician. Your PCP will refer you to specialists who accept Illinois Medicaid cards, if you need a referral. Before selecting a PCP, make sure the one you want is currently accepting new patients. - Recipient Identification Number
- Social Security Number
Instructions
Go to the Illinois Health Connect website (illinoishealthconnect.com).
Select "Pick a Provider" from the menu on the left-hand side.
Click the "Search for a provider online" link at the bottom of the page.
Fill out your identifying information, including Recipient Identification Number, Social Security number, first and last names and date of birth.
Push the "Login" button.
Choose a provider from the list of local providers in your area.
