California Uninsured Rate: 3 Million Residents Without Health Insurance (2019)
According to the 2019 American Community Survey, there were approximately 3 million people in California without health insurance. This represents about 7.5% of the population, which is higher than the national average of 8.5%. The number of uninsured people in California has been declining in recent years, thanks in part to the state's implementation of the Affordable Care Act. However, the state still faces challenges in ensuring that all of its residents have access to affordable health care.Medicaid - Related Articles
