What happenen to Adelphi Hospital in ny?
In 1978, as a result of financial issues, Adelphi Hospital merged with neighboring Long Island Jewish Hospital to form the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. The Adelphi Hospital building closed in 2006. The main hospital building at 515 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, New York, was converted to a nursing home known as The Willows at East Brook, operated by the Gurwin Jewish Healthcare System.
