What does starship hospital do?
Starship, formerly known as Starship Children's Health, provides secondary and tertiary health services for children throughout New Zealand, and is one of two dedicated children's hospitals in New Zealand. Starship is based in the suburb of Grafton in Auckland and employs over 750 staff. It is part of the Auckland District Health Board organisation, and is located on the grounds of Auckland City Hospital.
