Midwifery to Medicine: Can a Midwife Become a Doctor?

While midwifery shares responsibilities with medical practice, they're two different fields. In several countries, midwives can't become medical doctors. However, in some countries a midwife can go to medical school and become a medical doctor. It will depend on the country requirements and regulations.
