DIY Ribbon Box Bracelet: A Beginner's Jewelry Craft
Home jewelry crafts give you the option to create stunning accessories for any occasion or outfit. You can also make jewelry to give as meaningful handmade gifts to friends and loved ones. One beginner jewelry craft involves the use of ribbon as a stringing material for assorted beads. Knowing how to make a ribbon box bead bracelet only requires creativity and the desire to make one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces.Things You'll Need
- Silk ribbon roll
- Scissors
- Box beads
Instructions
Snip a length of ribbon from the roll measuring 12 inches. Tie a knot at one end of the ribbon.
Slide a box bead of any shape, size or color down the length of the ribbon. Slide until it meets the knot. Tie another knot snug against it.
Tie another knot into the ribbon approximately one inch above the first box bead. Slide another box bead down the ribbon. Tie another knot into the ribbon next to the bead. Repeat this for every inch. With each knot you tie, you shorten the length of the ribbon. Ideally, the beaded ribbon should be 9 inches in length once you have added the last bead and knot.
Tie the ends together into a tight double knot. This creates a ribbon box bangle bracelet.
